The Legal Audit team depends of the Corporate Department at the firm and enables the firm to better serve its many clients which often may ask themselves:

3. Is the company´s intellectual property protected?
4. Are the company´s properties updated with the payment of taxes?
5. Does the company have an adequate protection of its assets?
6. Is the company complying with tax requirements?
7. Are the corporate documents in good standing?
8. Am I updated in tax matters?
9. Does foreign staff have valid documents to work in the company?
10. Is there any legal requirement that is not being accomplished by the company?

The Legal Audit Team offers a unique combination of services and brings together prominent corporate intellectual property and litigation capabilities that will enable greater collaboration between the firm´s clients and lawyers. The addition of the legal audit team enables the firm to offer sophisticated problem solving and strategies for clients with business in the region.

Leading the Legal Audit Team is Jesús Humberto Medina Alva, partner in the firm´s Corporate Department. Mr. Medina-Alva has extensive experience in domestic and regional corporate affairs. Supporting Medina Alva are lawyers Claribel Medina and Ricardo Padilla, both Senior Associates at the firm. Claribel Medina´s practice focuses on intellectual property and arbitration, Padilla´s practice focuses on civil & commercial litigation.
